Customer-Loyalty Program in Northern Virginia to Become the Washington-Metro Rewards Card
Cox Communications’ customer-loyalty program for subscribers in Northern Virginia, the Cox Advantage card, will be ending December 31, 2008. However, the company that administered the program for Cox Communications, Complete Access, will be opening the Washington-Metro Rewards Card to take its place. The merchant “Free Money” card will be loaded with over $500 in cash value redeemable through a network of regional merchants.
The new program begins in January 2009 and is designed to help consumers stretch their dollar and help regional merchants stimulate traffic, particularly in a down economy, according to William Roskowski, president and founder of Complete Access, which will administer the program.
The card’s network of participating businesses will include more than 100 merchants offering over $500 in free money to consumers every month.
Merchants in the program will sell the card to customers for between $10 and $20.
“These cards will be a real bright spot for both consumers and merchants, which will tap into the network to promote their businesses on an ongoing basis,” Roskowski said.About Complete Access:
