New Merchant Customer-Rewards Program, VIPspree Rewards, Launches in Boise to Increase Customer Traffic and Per-Visit Spend

Program With Broad Merchant Network, Customer Incentives to be Replicated in Markets Across the U.S.

Complete Access has launched a new customer-rewards program for merchants in metro Boise, VIPspree Rewards that incentivizes customers to visit merchants, save money and accumulate cash throughout the region with a single card.

The program will drive customer traffic and per-visit spend by incentivizing customers to use the card in the broad merchant network and accumulate cash value for future purchases.

The one-to-many approach “significantly increases” the overall value and usability of the VIPspree Rewards card when compared to merchant-specific cards that require higher customer-loyalty thresholds and offer a more narrow reach, said Matt Naumann, Complete Access’ Director of Merchant Sales.

VIPspree Rewards is a cost-effective alternative to traditional advertising and was designed to “keep customers coming back again and again,” Naumann said.

“The program affects customers’ spending decisions in a way that, really, no other merchant-specific rewards program has done to date,” Naumann said. “The program is basically a no-risk, ongoing promotion that will drive business to merchants across Boise and the U.S. in a down economy.”

The program’s one-to-many approach also allows each participating merchant to benefit from the card-related promotions of every merchant in the network.

Customers using a VIPspree Rewards card have the ability to log on to their account online to view the balance of their cards.

Merchants that join the regional network will distribute the cards to their customers. The program allows merchants to let their customers accumulate cash value on the card for future purchases.

Complete Access plans to “quickly replicate” VIPspree Rewards in cities across the U.S. after completing the program’s roll out in Boise, Naumann said.
